A-BOX - Collaborative Communication
Create, receive and follow tasks, and create business processes to manage tasks automatically. Contextual Messaging.
WHAT IS A-BOX
The A-Box is Affectli’s collaborative communication module, that provides an integrated space for users, teams and people to effectively communicate. All exchanges of communication are organised with specific projects, tasks and processes.
It replaces the inefficiencies of conventional email, providing in the A-Box a clear trail of ongoing activities that are sorted by the relevance of messages and communications to the function and objective they mean to reach.
HOW DOES IT FIT INTO AFFECTLI
Effective communication with projects, tasks and processes are completed in a quicker and more efficient time. Work is more accurate and members understand their roles and the roles of everyone else relevant to a situation. A process is a workflow of tasks. Each individual task can be completed, and automatically the next task can be tackled - until the full process is finished.
The progress of each process is dependent on its tasks; each task may have its own process and the progress is measurable, for example adding or editing a user is two separate, defined processes.
WHO USES A-BOX
Each person in your organisation should be granted access to the A-Box in order to be assigned daily tasks. Organisations are able to give access to vendors, suppliers and partners, to their Affectli instance so that they become an integral part of the Affectli Universe. This enables automation of certain processes to be sent directly to your business stakeholders, streamlining workflows without bottle necks.
WHY IS A-BOX AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE PLATFORM
Create, receive and follow tasks, and create business processes to manage
SOP Handling-Incident tasks automatically. Contextual Messaging with a fully integrated messenger feature.
There are various from which the user is able to absorb the tasks at hand.
The A-Box Timeline is used to keep track of user assigned tasks, the start and due dates and to keep track of what is next.
Task Grid View
In this view, a user is able see assigned tasks, or tasks that the user is involved in. It is possible to filter the task view by Status, Assignee, Created Date etc. In this view, the number of Sub Tasks, Attachments, Messages a particular task has, can be viewed. A user is also able to close the task from this view, or you are able to navigate to the selected Task to perform more actions.
A-Box Calendar is used to keep track of user assigned tasks, the start and due dates and to keep track of what is next.
For users to keep track of their daily tasks, Affectli personalises into dashboards, tasks and activities that are open, done, owned by a user, or that a user is a team member of. This gives an overall view of the tasks at hand, and those that have been completed over a period of time.
WHEN DOES THE A-BOX BENEFIT BUSINESS
Flexibility should reduce the cost of external factors which impact on a process. Business agility (or flexibility) is an organisation’s ability to exploit or create opportunities and to thwart threats.
The Affectli Platform allows any third party suppliers engaging with the business to integrate fully and seamlessly within the Client’s space. Using the Affectli API, suppliers can plug into their customers’ Affectli space empowering the Client with a single and seamless view of their operations no matter where that information is coming from.
Through implementation, the objective is to increase the relationship between people, processes and systems and to increase performance in an organisation.
HOW DOES IT WORK FROM A USER PERSPECTIVE
Tasks and processes are linked together. Task assignment is the flow of specific tasks that are assigned to a user. They are defined by conditions which the user must follow or complete. The Processes focus on workflows and processes across an organisation, and is a representation of actual business tasks and processes.
Processes can be linked (have a relationship) with Things, People, Organisations, Custom Entities, Tasks or other Processes.
The A-Box menu options are designed to assist the user to navigate efficiently with the data displayed in either a list or grid. It has a sequence of the same data type that represents a countable number of items in a specific order ie. date, Assignee etc.
