SOC 2® is a component of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA)’s Service Organization Control reporting platform that audits and monitors a complex set of requirements that must be reviewed and carefully addressed by SaaS technology-based organisations. It involves a technical audit to ensure that comprehensive information security policies and procedures are written and followed and forms a crucial framework for technology companies in ensuring the security, availability, processing, integrity and confidentiality of Customer’s data.

Adhering to SOC 2® involves methodical Risk and Change Management that demands granular activity into user activity, processes, network connections and more. In particular, alerts are set up to monitor exposure or modification of data, controls & configurations; file transfer activities; and privileged filesystem, account or login access.
With the ability to go directly to the source, we are able to pinpoint where a possible risk originated, where it travelled to, what part of the system was impacted, the nature of the impact, establish what the next move might be, then work diligently to mitigate the impact and implement correct measures to prevent a repeat of similar events in the future.
